Thread: Anyone else getting this?

Everytime i try to login to the CSS server, I keep getting a steam error: can't validate steam user ticket. I have restarted server times and restart the puter, any ideas guys.

log completely out of steam...right click the systray icon and click logout, not exit..or go to file and log in as a different user...then log back in.

delete the Steam.dll, SteamUI.dll, and the ClientRegistry.blob then open steam. it will update your system and fix the problem.

Deleting only the ClientRegistry.blob itself should do the trick.

I just played the HL2 demo, and it's left me wondering up somethings. And I'm also planning on getting The Orange Box soon, so spoiler tags would probably be a good idea.

Is there a mod or something that lets you pick up some bodies with the gravity gun? I want to kill something by beating them in the face with a dead headcrab...

The demo consists of what I'm assuming to be the first part, opening and Ravenholm. How often do those damn poison headcrabs pop up in the game? Really, I'm just trying to mind my own business and suddenly they pop out of practically nowhere and try and kill me with neurotoxin. They're so rude.

And the most important question:

How frequent is shotgun ammo? The SPAS was my favorite in the original HL (the ray gun thing loses for being too overpowered and lacking the more personal feel of blowing a zombies head off with a shotgun...) and is my favorite in HL2, until the gravity gun lets me kill things with a headcrab carcass.
