    bunny hop question:

    Sup guys,

I had somebody ask me if this situation was considered bunnyhopping and i was not 100% sure: Your playing D2 as a T and rushing catwalk.. from catwalk you decide to fall off into mid (before DD). If you fall off catwalk and hit jump at the same time as hitting ground you spring forward.. ect. His argument was that it was only one jump not multiple. Anyways.. seeing what yall think. hopefully this makes sense.

    Re: bunny hop question:

No. Bunny hopping involves air strafing to the sides to gain speed(or used to before they added the command to remove the speed boost). This sounds like you are just jumping as soon as you hit the ground...which while not realistic, is not bunnyhopping.

I do know that the last few cheaters I seen banned in TPG servers appeared to be bunnyhopping while they used thier weakass autoaim crap.

Personally rather than questioning TPG or in general other servers that make rules to help keep thier servers fun and fair maybe instead question valve and steam for forcing server owners to take such steps.

I can only suggest not testing the waters and enjoy the servers for I`m pretty sure the no bunnyhopping rule will stand for a long time to come.

    Re: bunny hop question:

I`m curious in the OP you said something about a arguement is this referring to a admins response in server regarding a players action or just a generalized question?
If this arguement is about a admin issue I dont feel this topic is posted in the correct area and to be honest either way hearing his side of the arguement really isn`t fair to those who are on the other side of that arguement.

id imagine the word argument was used to describe 1 side of a friendly debate, considering the context

Well you can understand from a certain point of view brotha that could appear to be bunnyhopping. I see people get warned all the time about that glitch, exploit and whatever .It`s nice to know how I can prevent making moves that appear to look like bunny hopping .
I apologize for the dick question just dont want to be in a admin arguement you feel me.

lol that bunnyhopping stuff seems complicated ,I think I work on keeping my feet on the ground besides hell I miss everything shooting from the ground damn sure the air wont be any different. :P

    Re: bunny hop question:

Its not bunny hopping, that is skiing. The only way that it would be considered bunny hopping is if that player were using the air strafe and mouse turns at the same time. If those are not involved, its in no way shape or form bunny hopping.

    Re: bunny hop question:

Bunny hopping would be, TWO or more jumps WITH strafing!

One jump is a JUMP. If you jump and do a 180, you just turned around.
Australian-I feel for ya bro gaming on a piece of shit you should be twice as good at any game you play. Thats really really a scary thought. Part of me does not want you to get a new rig.
