I never save with a usp/glock anymore, just deagle. To add on this, the deagle is great gun to get good with. I use to DM all the time with it and it has helped my pistol accuracy overall and changed my whole buying schedule.

Deco rounds can be very effective. They definitely counter CT MP5 rushes.

I wasn't calling that map for a reason BT, I have reasons for doing things. We had a few people who started to call that map, and decided to step up, I always call, and I try not to also, to let people do it. But that caller had left, and Luker was switched, then we faced rage quiters, so we were down in numbers. Score wise? I always suck when we slow play, my impatience gets to me. And about flaming and shit, I was frustrated, but in no way was I saying shit to my team. All in all, I bet we did pretty decent under those circumstances.

I do agree if the call is to save, then it is mandatory and bannable (its the call) if not followed (most likely your not gonna win this round, so why waste the money on a gun?). And if this is the call.. it should be a quick rush to get the bomb down..$$.. asap.

3 rounds of saving to build my cashflow up to 9-11K?! There is no way I will ever have the patience to do that. I have never heard that call. If both teams saved for 3 rounds, we would basically have 3 pistol rounds (which i have never seen once in 5 years on TPG). I can see 1,, mayyyybe 2 save rounds.. but 3!! i would have money for full buy out and enough in the kitty to get Vic that awp.

It always seems that good players get kills with deagles anyway and bad players get shot in the face and give their expensive guns to the enemy team anyway. So buy a deagle + nades + smoke + kit every round and we can all be happy.

If you have lots of money then buy a deagle + pump shotty like a real man!

Minus the pump shotty, this is all I do. After round 2, I can always afford it, I've gotten decent with the deagle, and I normally get someone else's rifle pretty quickly.

However it is not a punishable offense. Consider how a save round is not much different from those 'Everyone buy a p90!" 'calls'. This is a door I'd rather not see opened.

I personally have done 3-5 save rounds in a map. By save I mean still getting kevlar/kit/nade/w.e but not buying any primary weapons. If it goes for 5 rounds it usually means I have been picking up weapons during or at the end of a round. This method certainly would not work if the whole team was doing it. Unless there is a some pretty severe skill imbalance. I am not often regimented enough to do this though.

PS: Bomb plant money is a myth, but one best left perpetuated.
