Thread: Buying Weapons

One of the things that irritates me the most, is when people have a good jump to make a rush to the bombsite, but get passed up by everyone on the team, b/c they cant buy weapons fast enough. I personally dont ever have a problem with buying my weapons in the time allotted before you can start moving (main wepon, optional pistol, accesorries, and armor). Please post your buying techniques and some special binds you have to help people out who are slower than aim internet when buying their weapons.

If you don't have the scratch for one, its' really easy to hit B-6-2-B-3-2. bam, Instant armor and an Mp5.

My only guess is people actually use the mouse on the menus. I do agree that it is very frustrating. Especially when you start in the worst possible position for the rush, and end up in the lead...

hmm. i buy just using the menus and the mouse but im fast as hell when doing it so im ready to go before the round even starts... not to mention i usually buy a setup that i use for the entire game so every new round i just tell it to rebuy previous and im up and setup even sooner. So i guess the only tip i got is pick a good kit setup when you first start, then just rebuy previous as often as your money allows

I have most of the weapons I want to buy memorized, no need for scripts. Rock brings up a good point. I can't recall how many times we have a good jump for b on dust2 only to have 3-4 players leading the rush and the rest trailing.

yeah, i know you dont have to buy ammo anymore, but i am way to lazy to remove all that from my cfg

Usually I start out every round with mashing this...

then I have every weapon bound to a key from F6 down to the . key. So depending on how much money I have left from after buying my equipment determines which weapon I buy. So pretty much 2 clicks and I'm done buying Which is why I like it when there's no freeze time because I can out rush slow buyers XD

But yeah, for anyone having trouble buying stuff, check out the format for the binds like the ones me and Grey posted and make use of some of those random keys you never touch.

whats also funny is that i use the aarow keys to play and not w, a, s, and d.
