Valve broke the game!
After playing last night there seems to be three thoughts on the new update.
1. Where the fuck is radar and wtf are triangles/circles doing on it?
(When you die or spectate, radar is missing.)
2.OMFG PRESENTS!@!!!! MINE MINE MINE!
3. WTF IS THAT TURKEY NOISE! MAKE IT STOP!
(Every time a present drops on the ground a high pitched and loud turkey noise goes off, which is seriously annoying)
So this detracts from the game and now our radars are broken. The point of the triangle and square on radar has zero point and most of the times one, the other or both are located off the map.
So every server I have been on is quite upset with this lame update. Saying why can't they fix the important shit, wtf is the point of this shit?

Well, the model loading part of the update is great. The gift thing is probably seasonal (not that I like it...) and radar will undoubtedly be fixed as soon as they can.
Just knowing they are still trying to improve the game is good enough for me.We can do better.

Well I think a gift system my be a positive thing if promoted well .Specially if you consider tradeable items and such that are slowly being worked into other games .
I wouldn`t be suprise to see css follow tf2`s footstep sometime after csgo (cs-cartoon) release and that would diffenetly be a positive move .
I visited alot of servers after the update (alot being maybe 5 because most havent updated yet ) and in each server I seen different glitches in the radar and map system .
Either way I`m glad to see they are still focusing on css and it`s future rather than throwing in the trash can because alot of people are not going to switch over to csgo.

Re: Valve broke the game!
Dang morbx, now I'm stuck between Call of Duty:Source and CS:Cartoon... good choices!
Sorry I didn't really list the other updates, I guess this present update seems to be the most obvious so it overshadows the inner working updates that affect the game for the better.
I just enjoy CS:Source competitively, and its hard to be competitive and hear footsteps when those presents are going off every minute. I have a 7.1 surround sound headset that makes it very clear where people are and I can usually run up behind opponents unheard as they are firing their guns, then walk when they aren't. My 2 cents.

I swear if valve fucks up css with all the same shit they did in tf2 I will be pissed. Tf2 had a quirk about it. Great teamplay and hood game play in a less than real graphic depiction. It was different and fun. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing. Css needs some new kick ass maps and maybe a few new guns perhaps T/CT specific and it would last another 10 years.
