I was just browsing through some web pages on google searching for something entirely different when I discovered this website:

www.dodpacific.com

It looks like its going to be a full pacific conversion for DoD: Source, including a conversion of models, weapons, sounds and maps. Its something maybe worth keeping an eye on, and looks like it could be fun!

the sky and the plane look like it was painted and not modeled. nobody would release that grass in a game. this is definitely just a very early preview.

yeah, and then throw in some chi ha's and aichvals.

and then we can call it DoD 1942.

It would be a sweet mod if they really broke down some walls and did that. Other wise, for me, it's just bad skins and incompatible maps.
