How do I become an Admin?
Hey guys, I registered I play at the TTP DOD:S server everyday, now how do i become an admin?? I know I can be one because, the little sign that flashes up in the corner when I play says if I register and play here often then I can be an admin. Sorry if this is a repost or is easily explained somwhere else. Thanks for the help.

its ok big dawg i know that you are being rude because you are envious of my skills on DOD:S. i havent seen you on the server in a while, seems like you have your little tail tucked between your legs. its ok buddy come play and i will give you some tips. And oh by the way, the comment above that you took out of context was just a nice little post to remind these guys that While DOD:S is a fun and addictive game its still just a game. I was just trying to calm them down because i like to play on the server with them. So next time lets try to cut out the rudeness and sarcasm and play the game that i we all like so much.

RE: How do I become an Admin?
You obviously don't read much of the other posts. You also don't realize that this is not just a game, it is a way that we do things around here. There have been others that have come in and tried to say the same thing, but they too don't get it. What Bigdog and everyone else here is trying to do is create a team environment where everyone works together and tries to achieve one goal. Now I know biddog doesn't need anyone to back him since he really is the bigdog of this whole server, but I don't think you are very wise by talking trash to him. I can almost guarantee you will not get admin with that kind of attitude and especially calling on the one guy that probably holds your nuts in his hands.
So, if you want to become admin, I would probably recommend that you find another server where it is just a game and you can play for yourself. You have three posts, two of them stemming from this topic, so I would probably try and read around first, then make your smart comments.
Good luck.

Fyi bigdog played DoD for a long time for the sake of the server, hell, he came to play just 2 days ago.
If you think he's a pussy, go play him in a harder game, CS... a game he's played longer and probably more than you have in DoD... you won't stand a fucking chance.

If you really want admin, you still won't get it... you never cap flags... you just sit there and snipe all the time... we all know rifles are the least versatile class there is.
Shit... if I was bigdog I'd probably ban you right here and now.

My Attitude...
I've worried a couple of times that my attitude will get me on the business end of the Bigdog.
I know that I get a short fuse with people who don't come to play. And I have little tolerance for people who spam the chat and vox. I've been known to "unleash the Hartman" on a few occasions. I try very hard to keep off the vox unless I've got something to say that will help the team. I realize that my ranting at some idiot is just as much vox-spam as some dumb kid going la-la-la-la-la.
One thing I have learned is that if some ass-hat is vox-spamming, then the best thing to do is to mute them instead of trying to shout them down. That keeps me from being a part of the problem and solves the problem (for me at least).
As for the frustration that I sometimes feel and express towards my teammates who aren't working for a team win, I don't have a solution. Often I end up barking at people trying to get them motivated.
I ask only that if an admin thinks I'm out of line, please admin message me and tell me to stfu. I will comply.

RE: My Attitude...
Yeah I am the same way sometimes, I mean I hate rude people, and sometimes I do get pissed off at times and frustrated. I am on the same boat with HeartMan on it. I do feel the same way about geting the team motivated.... I dont feel that Hartman is out of line, I feel the same way...sometimes I do say a few childish words to people that come in and spam the place and piss me off, but over all I think my attitude I am pretty postive...I am not looking to be an Admin at this point and time but I would like to be some day....think I have a chance?

RE: My Attitude...
Attitude is good as long it's to someone who needs it.
Listen to bigdog... pop into the CS server when he has an unresponsive team, it's pretty rough, though, it works... you can't ignore admin messages AND a dude yelling at you at the same time.
Yell as much as you like, for the 4 days I had my mic it was chock full of it... then it messed up again...

RE: My Attitude...
And yes, Stitch you have a real good attitude on things and show a high amount of "teamplayerness."
I'd put up a vote for you.
Just give it time.
