Lime Arena?

    Is that a regularly played map on the TTP DoD server?

    I wouldn't say regularly played map, but it is definitely played. It's fun as hell too.

    i've been on that and orange arena several times today each and both have jacked up the server population. it was freaky how fast people came in when those maps were being played.

    That's cool. I personally couldn't stand it, totally killed the atmosphere of the game. I was all psyched to play DoD and get the server going, then bam, some crazy amiga commodore 64 quake map thing.

    But hey, different strokes for different folks. If it's not played all that often I'll give the server another shot.

    i agree, redeye. I like the WW2 atmosphere of the game but a full-on fragfest is fun from time to time. It was just crazy how fast the server filled up when one of the arenas came on.

    Re: Lime Arena?

    The arena maps do tend to bring in connections and, IMO, playing there is the quickest way to learn how to control the guns...

    tiny battlefield + simple graphics + lots of targets = fun(0 < t < x).

    where limt -> (n>>x)fun -> 0

    Load that in your bowl....

    Although it seems to take longer, Flash is a pretty good map with which to gain connections. I haven't any proof but it seems to me that the connections gained via Flash are more stable and willing to stick around for the next map...

    How does one simultaneously satisfy n>>x and t<x when t -> n? Over |tn my brain/0. LOL.
