Is the server going through one of those phases again where no one is playing. Everytime I get on, there are zero....0.....people on it. Is it just my bad timing or what? Im forced to play CS, which isnt bad, but i would like to get in some dod every now and then.

Yeah I think it is... no one's ever playing DoD... usually when you go into the server it takes like 14 minutes to get the mama full... now it takes like an hour or two... slow month I'm guessing.

Just connect to the server Rock, you guys joining CS, dont help the situation.

Big and I, when we strted TTP, would sit on the serevr alone for LONG periods of time.....you dont have to do THAT, but give it 15 mins, Xfire your friends, it's the only way to keep connections high.

do what i do... just connect to the empty server, and climb into the enemy spawn while you're waiting :P . you can do it on any map, if you move some crap around and use it to boost you in

and if you've been there a while... play some music, and start dancing :lol: . i do it on anzio. i'll be waiting on the large rock in allied spawn (as whermacht :P ), get bored, key some music, and start dancing. ever see a nazi soldier dancing on a beach? no? well, that's what DoD is for :lol:

Last night we were playing 3 on 3 for awhile, which is all right, but bigger maps make it not as fun and we decided to not capture flags and just go for kills. I thought it would pick up and made sure that I told people to stay in so that more people would join, but to no avail. After a map change, it was 1 on 1 and then they left. So I tried to find more spots that I could really hurt people. I could have used one more person so that I could see where we could boost, but it was kind of lame. I am in California so I know when I go on at 8 or 9, it is later in Texas and that may be a little issue for me and getting regular guys/drummergirl to play.

We just have to keep playing though. The more we get in there, the most people will come in. The name sticks out on the server list which is how most of us found it in the first place.

I play from about 7~10pm each night and that seems to be the peak hours.

for our CS and DoD servers, that is true. 5-1AM CST is a near guaranteed full house.

both servers had to be restarted last night at around 10PM CST to replace the stats plugins. That had a huge effect on connections and players.

That's what I always do, then after about 5 to 10 minutes,..........here they come.
