New Ranking System

Just wanted to thank the admins for this....

It rocks, finally, getting credit for teamplay and flag captures and not just kills (which mean nothing if you don't win).... Flags before kills and fearless defence with no regard for being killed is the way to play!

Love the server, a lot of good guys play on it! Keep up the great communication, and if you don't have a mic, grab one, it makes things easier, more fun, and goes along way towards winning....

PS - Why does the new ranking system show I plant bombs and diffuse them? There's no Stat for flag captures but is that what the bomb thing is all about ? (I only play DoD, not CS)

this ranking system is still new. the web interface is more like a testing ground for us. The stats are still based on flags and wins, but the table for the webpage has the wrong entries to display that.

It will get fixed, soon enough.

good eye catching the ranking system. you're right. it's about damn time there was a stat system that actually worked for players.

Hey I like the new ranking also...I am played for 9 hours total on the new ranking system and I am #1! WOO HOO! But Rank isnt everything it is the people who I play with and you guys are great! Keep up the great work. I am on X-fire too, but I am kinda new to it so anysuggestions would be great on how to use it.

See I thought this new system would be great for teamplay as well. However last night and today, I was playing normally, capping a good bit of flags and killing people along the way. I had a positive KDR also. My points for the session were well into the negatives both times. Is it just by chance this happend this way? If not, I'm not seeing how it will reward players for taking initiaitve to cap flags and help the team in that way. I think the idea of it is great, but why is this happening?

See yeah... it puts more pressure to get caps than kills, I never thought I'd care so less on killing someone rather than taking a flag.

It's putting a motivation up.

I racked up 72 kills in one round today, but I still go get the falg and finished with I think 20 captures....I had a good time, I am no longer #1 I am down to #3 Had a good time and see you guys around!
