    L4D GOTY Edition is just a re release... With all the patches installed. And it will include the Survival Mode

    And EA? Like, wtf... And isn't the new release for L4D called Critics' Choice Edition. Same thing, somewhat, but still.

    EA published the original game too. There's an interview with Gabe floating around where he explains that if you don't want EA to get any of your money, you have to buy it off of Steam.

    yeah...the special edition just includes the survival mode aswell as the full game...like cod4 GotY edition
