It wasn't intended to be a bash Monkey thread it was more on the lines of a joke. But I was curios to see what others thought considering Monkey has been a pain to all of us more than once, and causes a loss in connections

I find myself killing him more everyday so he has to be losing his edge right?

If anything... it should be flattering to Monkey that there is an entire thread revolving around how good he is.

Bottom line is that Monkey is a great DOD player that has pretty much mastered the rifleman class, which is not easy to do.

Personally, I think conquering guys like Monkey, Rick, and myself should be something you guys should work to reach. We didnt just get good over night... we put in hours and hours of playing. This game takes a good amount of strategy and skill. If you dont have both, then you will never be able to "beat" us.

The more you play, the more you build up in both. Start sticking to one gun, master it, then move to another. Those that keep switching classes out of frustration will never learn.

After playing assault class for many months, I made the switch back to support due to the lack of support gunners that could stand up to guys like Monkey and Rick (sorry Insane and Kyle... no offense). This is by far the most important class in the game, dealing heavy firepower at a decent range, with two grenades to boot.

I see a lot of players out there that do not know how to move up with this class. They do not know how to sprint out, shoot, sprint back, reload, sprint back out agian... etc. All of this while avoiding fire from guys like Monkey. Work on your strategy. Learn how to predict their movements... and be ready for them. Thats all there is to it.

And Ficet is right on! The more you play with these guys, the more you will learn their play style and will be able to kick their ass.

Yeah, I'm a good example. I started out just like all of you and now I can pretty much hold my own with different classes against the top players here.

Once again if you complain about him you should also be complaining about rick and heavy

Heavy has a good mix, but rick and monkey do seem to have one class they play the most.

The thing you're all forgetting is that we LIKE Heavy and Rick.

I like monkey we work well together when we team up never a problem. We have alot of playing style that is alike normally never have to communicate our positions cause we are always for the most part on the same mindset. Kill everyone around the objective then take it lol... :9
