Pick up game 5/11

It was a hell of a two rounds and I played much much better then I thought I would have since I barely play DoD:S at all. I might start playing more!

I think those SS's may be off a little but you get the point

Okay this whole map thing was sort of bullshit and i want to clear this up before the next game. I post the map an entire week before the match, giving you plenty of time to check it out and see if you like it. If you don't like it and neither does anyone else that bring it up here in the forums and we'll pick a new map. It doesnt make any sense why people are complaining about the maps when they have had every chance to recommend there own here http://www.texasteamplayers.com/index.php?topic=34954.0

or at least say you thought this weeks sucked... So i urge you to actually download the map beforehand and try it out and say what you think about it in the thread.

Anyways hopefully we'll have a more even match next week.

I have some feedback about tonight's match...

For one... my power went out right before the second half started. My team was without their captain and one of their lead support gunners. The other team sat out roadkill. A fair exchange? Not quite. I call for a rematch... same teams, same captains. My reason for this is because near the end of the first half, our team started to get things together and we actually capped you out. I believe if I would have been there for the 2nd half, we would have been able to pull out a win. Let me know when you guys can make it.

For two... Kyle, I didnt even get the map until Saturday. I didnt even play DOD during the week this week, so I would have told you the map sucked beforehand if I would have known. In turn, as soon as I played it, I let you know it sucked..

For three... good first half. As much as I would hate to say it... Roadkill's MG was really pushing our team down until we started to flank him during the first half... but I still say we would have won if I didnt drop.

I'd be willing to have a rematch again. I think we still would have won anyway because on the first round we had you guys at I believe it was 3-1. I do believe Roadkill was a even sub because we had someone else go MG so we lost a good support or assault gunner. Let's have a rematch though!

HeavyG, when you left we were 3-1, and we ended 7-1, we would have won more rounds, but we started to kill each other, because, your team, was just a joke, i hope kyle can provide proof of this im saying.

In another hand, i thought we were going to loose, i told that to Kyle before the scrim started, why, well, WE WERE outmatched by your team, not otherwise, and well i havent played in like 2 months (until this past week).

So, if we do rematch, ill be to my 100%, and i hope, all our team, will suit fine.

IF we are going to rematch, i'd like to hear, if this is going to happen.

You complain about Roadkill sitting out, in 2 scrims i've been on, there were uneven teams. like 7 on 6 or something, so sitting out roadkill was not just fair, it was more than kind of our part, and well, without Roadkill your team still got ramed by a MG.

And yes, im talking with attitude, coz i want to heat this up, and get this rematch going. it would be really nice, TTP DoD server need more people intrested in DoD.

And then, we won.

PS: I'm in (for the rematch).
PS2: HeavyG, Sue your power company, if that would have happened to me, i would have cut my wrists and stuff.

We did know, we weren't even when he dropped, actually you were loosing big, and we were about to use Axis.

Odin!, you cannot prove that at all. Bottom line is that your team won the first half 3-1, but we started to push back at the end.

I did not play the 2nd half, so you dont know what the score would have been. You dont know what would have happened if I was playing the second half. I had bad luck, lost power, and the only way we can find out for sure is with a rematch.

I thought the first half was rather competitive. You only beat us by two rounds... which only takes minutes to come back. Two rounds is nothing... So coming in here saying my team was a joke is just wrong... especially since the leader and one of the best players couldnt even play.

Saying our team was a joke is just wrong, Odin!. Why dont you man up and be a captain next time, rather than come in with a poor sportsmanship attitude.

Not to mention the "two scrims you have been in on"... try the 12-15 we have been having while you were away doing whatever you were doing. I dont mean to get an attitude with you, Odin, but I am seriously heated because that game was not over when my power went out. I didnt give up... I never do. I would have taken it to your team and you all know it, so dont come in here calling my team a "joke", when I know for a fact you would not have rolled them if I was there.

This was just a case of bad circumstance, just like last week. The first half is good, the second half is bad. I am not satisfied at all with these results. Especially when I couldnt be there to make a difference. I dont mind the heat either, Odin!, just be there for the rematch...

I think a rematch would be a lot of fun but it completely defeats the purpose of these pick up games.. which is to allow everyone to play in a clan-like match regardless of their clan affliation. I can think of about 5 people off the top of my head who would probably want to play in next weeks game but wouldn't be able to because of this rematch. So i say if you want this to happen to treat it like a clan match and have it on a different night so it doesnt interfere with our pick up games. Or we allow the other players to be picked and they will be added to the old teams
