DoD update!!

if you ask me, they're all aesthetic changes. doesn't really make a difference to the gameplay.

Ditto, complaining about the update should not be the only thing talked about on the server.

I mean we have many more intersting topics. Like off color jokes about "Domination" and people's moms....

Changing the cone of fire/recoil for almost every gun is not aesthetic and definetly changes the way the game is played

hahah i can't tell the difference. i didn't play long enough before the update to notice. hmmm, i was just checking the dod website to see the updates and i didn't see anything mentioning fire/recoil?

why don't you start a new thread, either here or the hardware forum, and detail the problem EXACTLY... programs running, in game frame rates, DoD hardware settings... all of it.. everything

Well, Ficet, I do not think you will ever hear me complain about it in game. While I am in there and my weapons are all so frighteningly accurate, It does not bother me that much :P

Whether the update is good or not is really irrelevant...the server is getting more connections; isn't that what matters? Put the website url out there in chat a few times a map, and get these new guys to come to the forums, so we can get some more DoD regs. :9

I know I will be playing a hella lot more dod now. I have been out of dod for a while now, and have always liked the game, just never played much.

True, connections are all that matter, which we've been getting a lot of so far. On a personal note, I guess it was just that I wasn't used to it yet. I'm getting it down now and once I get my computer and gear I'll pwn mad face.
