Kar98 or Garand?

This is a good question. The kar98 has a one hit kill, but the Garand has more ammo, and has a bigger rate of fire. Whichh do you prefer?

The K98 doesn't always kill in one shot, though. It depends on where you aim.

chest and head for the k98 are one shot one kill hits if you manage to get a leg or arm shot on a full blooded enemy it will most like do 80 damage. I think alot of people prefer the k98 because they can reload the weapon at anytime where as the garand you have to empty the clip to reload.

Both great guns, but the rate of fire on the Garand makes it a more suitable gun when facing off against Support/Assault players. The K98 just takes too long between shots, regardless if it is more powerful. The Garand wins, in my book.

I prefer the k98 just because it is generally a one shot kill. When I actually hit things I kill with it more than I wound. I don't like the Garand as much just because it feels less accurate and because it's a two shot kill which means I have to aim more than I'd like to since I'm very much a twitch and shoot kind of player.

If I've got to assault something I'll probably take the Garand just because it's a better rushing weapon. If I need to hold a corner or other point and have some cover it's K98 all the way. A master of the Garand is a very scary site though.

For close quarters I prefer the Garand. Medium to long I prefer the k98. I like the Garand really because I can shoot without having to do bolt action between shots.

The Garand sucks (for me) when I have to deal with a support/assault class in close quarters the rate of fire just seems so damn slow while im up against a guy with a fully automatic weapon. But with the infamous update its a deadly weapon from afar since it has hardly any recoil. And its good for zooming in as a sniper.

I tend to do very well in close quarters with the K98 though. It so easy to kill when enemy's are close to you. Hell I'd choose the K98 over the MP40 if i was in a map where you can literally smell the opponent.
