Looks like I will need to RMA my EVGA 8800GT I'm getting red artifacting and graphic errors. So I'll either be out or on my old comp with my 6600...

My friend just had to do the same thing with his 8800GT card. Turns out that great "budget buy" was a terrible design and ended up burning a bunch of GPUs. Oh well... come back soon!

Was playing last night on my old comp with my 2.4Ghz P4 and 1gb Memory and my KICKASS 6600....ya you're all jealous of my 9-30 FPS!!! (30 when I was in spawn at the beginning of the round with no movement gunshots or grenades going off) Average of 14-23FPS
So anyone who wants to take advantage of this to beat the shit out of me for all the times I dominated the crap out of you...here is your chance...Except Guyver because I was still doing better than him.

Pfft, I get 20-30 fps on my old box.

AthlonXP 2500+, Radeon 9600XT 128MB, and a whopping 512MB of DDR400 RAM. Maybe you just need to turn your settings down ;P

settings all the way down...but still at 1680x1050.

UPDATE: RMA submitted and Newegg Invoice uploaded to EVGA....Need to wait for them to accept it now.

That's probably the issue then. I run medium-high settings at 1024x768 on the old box.

20-30 would be fine if it was consistently that, But when I run around a corner guns blazing, I'm dead before the person even shoots on my screen. Cuts out and lags down to 10fps and I'm dead before I see anything...I'll be back pwning again when i get my new card.
