Pistol Mode?

So how about pistol mode on DoD:S server, very useful. I mean pistol wiping Guyver is sooo much fun)

Are you talking about a pistol mod that gives every class a pistol, or are you talking about something else?

I'd vote no, there are reasons why only some classes have pistols.

Giving a rifle class a pistol would be mega annoying. The few times you get away with 80-90 dmg when hit by a rifle they just have to swap to their pistol and spray away that last little bit. I wouldn't be ok with that.

Since we are on the subject... didn't DOD used to have Brit weapons? Enfield, Sten, Bren, etc?

the quick answer would be no TPG does note run mods of any kind on their DoD server, never have in the past and i doubt they will start now..

Trust me, you do NOT want me to have a P38 to go with my K98. It would kill the server because everyone on the other team would rage quit.

Sometimes I do it anyway. I take sniper or MG and wait for some rifleman to die just so I can grab his Kar and go to town. Even better is to do it with Rocket and get something unholy like a Kar/broomhandle or BAR/Broomhandle
67% of the time, it causes rage quits every time.

Yep, because BAR+Broomhandle=many dead enemies.
I like the BAR, but the clip is too short. Carrying around a broomhandle solves that problem qute nicely.
