    Modding help

Yea, this Creation kit is a bit overwhelming. I've watched the tutorials on several topics, but I'm yet to find help with what I'm trying to do.

So, if anyone has modding experience, I need help/guide.

I want add an new object to the game.
-Doesn't need to have a unique model or texture.
I want the player to be albe to carry/craft/drop the item
    -not equip it
Once dropped, I want the player to be able to "activate" it
When Activated, I want the object to replaced by a static object.
Then, the object can be activated again to be removed from the world, and be placed back into the player inventory.

I can get more specific after, but thats the basic outline of what I'm looking to accomplish. I know it's been done before and I'm waiting on responses from those authors.

Is there alreadya method to acomplish this, do I need to create a new script? How would I link the new item to a static object, and pretty much be able to do all the crap i just said.

For making armour you would be best off using a 3d modeling program like 3DS Max or Maya, I know 3DS Max, it's pretty intensive...

It's been awhile since I used either of them(years) but I know I always found Maya to be much more intesnive the 3DS Max. Regardless of which you choose there are tons of tutorials out there for both.
