Mass effect 2 was absolutely incredible, and it was meant to be played on very hard. It's not even the same game if you play it on a different setting. And the DLC are some of the best missions of any game I've ever played. Don't play it if you don't have all of the missions.
I know that it sucks that you have to pay for them, I hate EA as well. These are by far the best DLC of any game I've played and the only ones worth money imo

I thought they really dumbed down the weapons system for ME2. You get basic starters and then 1 or 2 others throughout the game.

I prefer the RPG style randomized weapons.

Mass Effect has always been a linear, cliched-romp through boring planets and combat that would be better if you could just skip it.

You can take absolutely any game ever made and put this sort of spin on it. I certainly think every aspect of the Mass Effect games could have been better, but with that in mind I thought the first two games were enjoyable.

That being said though, I thought the demo was bad. Real bad. Trying my best to give them the benefit of the doubt on the whole graphics and animation thing. Real jerky controls and awful writing. I do like the new interface, and some of the controls/options seem cool, but with it being a console port, having three actions bound to the same button is just something unpleasant. Actually I take it back, those animations were awful. I can't think of a reason everything looks so terrible, demo or not.

The laser porn was pretty slim too. If intro is going to have the entire Sol system ambushed by mountain sized squid-robots that honk at you, could they at the very least shown some decent fighting? I really couldn't bring myself to play the whatever part they put you on after the intro, so maybe I missed something good, but I doubt it.

Very, very, disappointing. BF3 demo levels of disappointment.
