at least they know where and when they are wrong, for the most part. still can't believe they messed up so badly, though.

only thing is... what about accounts that continue to get hacked?

i like all the proposed changes. a bit less about attack speed cuz i spent a buttload of cash to increase my atk speed. but eh

I'm not convinced that the hacking is Blizzard's issue.

Yeah... the attack speed change kind of stinks, especially for the melee classes because they rely on it to be able to do damage and stay alive with life on hit. However, the ranged classes can use it a lot more efficiently and kill things with a bit too much ease sometimes, so I can see why it needs a little tweak.

I am happy to see that the Acts 2-4 are being changed a bit to make them more doable for those that aren't either extremely lucky or being fed cash. Same goes with the drop rate changes... my Act I farming might actually get me something other than a few items to sell.

All the changes look good. I'm very happy at the cost reduction of making gems. Nothing pisses me off more than having to spend 15k to make maybe 3 gems. The drop rate change is nice too. I hate spending so much friggin gold and living in the AH just to be able to get through a new quest line.

Sadly, you will still have to spend 500K just to make one Star gem. They are ridiculously good though... If you have a socket. And you also need all of the Flawless Squares to make the others.
