Mistborn: Birthright
For the Brandon Sanderson fans out there, and especially the Mistborn series fans:
Mistborn: Birthright is Coming in 2013 | Tor.com
Video game company Little Orbit and Brandon Sanderson have just announced a new original installment of his best-selling Mistborn series: Mistborn: Birthright.
This upcoming RPG video game, planned for 2013 release on the PS3, Xbox 360, PC platforms, and Mac will feature an original storyline created by Sanderson, set several hundreds of years before the first Mistborn novel, and will focus on a unique combat system that puts Allomancy into the hands of gamers. Players will suit up as Fendin “Fiddle” Fathvell, an arrogant young nobleman who must quickly master his newfound Allomantic abilities before forces at work can destroy his entire family.
And just another interesting tidbit:

Re: Mistborn: Birthright
I loved the series, but I'm a pessimist. I don't think that a game can live up to the series, because there aren't many quality games based on existing IPs.
(What would kinda be interesting is a multiplayer class-based game without mistborn, where your 'class' was your allomantic ability)

I agree with talkos too. Though my internal skepticism has me thinking along blah's line of thought. Though that is an interesting concept, blah, to base classes around the allomantic abilities.
The possible angst being that people will be upset if that can't be, or achieve, Mistborn status or ability.
Would be cool to see some RNG based process where some lucky few would "evolve" into (or discover) additional abilities over time. Purely RNG though. No rhyme or reason so no way to game the system a la quest camping etc.
