Which is why I can't wait for Dragonborn. It takes us back to one of the best locations from that game.

Re: Question: Alternate lands in Skyrim

So I copied this over into a new thread for the purpose of this question:

Have you tried any of the mods (Steam Workshop or Nexus) that purport to add other lands/continents/islands to Skyrim? Thoughts? Good, bad, don't bother?

Re: Question: Alternate lands in Skyrim

    From what I tried, I wouldn't bother.

There are a few I thought about, one that takes you to the plains of Oblivion. But I didn't download it.

I have played Moonpath to Elsweyr. Which, had a great start and was done very well, but the fizzled out. I mean they had a good story going, adventure to get there, but they never finished it off. You end up running down river paths killing the same creatures, going back and forth between 3 or 4 locations fighting a hand full of elves.

Sea of Ghosts was good. Worth it I would say. There are a few quests bugs, in that you can complete a island go back and and the same quest will start again. But it's good for another handful of hours of game play. Just don't bring a follower.
