I think you would only need those if you went hardcore. You get 4 tabs and 24 character slots.

Open beta starts like within the hour I think (might have to check my math).

I bought the silver supporter package before though, gatta get me some swag, while supporting the F2P model..... I figure if I play it for 2 weeks I got my money worth.
