Path of Exile

Anyone looking at playing this? I've got a couple buddies that are already in the closed beta...goes open beta next week. Upcoming Action RPG. Looks like a good mix between Torchlight and Diablo 2...looks like it has some serious promise. Much darker than Diablo 3 or either Torchlight...more in the D2 frame in that way. Skill system and lack of a monetary system look pretty interesting.

Everything you buy is cosmetic. Pets, skins, different looking magic, etc. No skills, no new characters. No buy to win.

It is a good game if you liked titanquest or the earlier diablos, the skill system is very unique.

Well that's a comparison that likely means I will try it and like it. I liked the Titan Quest and earlier Diablo games.

It felt like more of the former. The classes they list are really just the starting points and you can build very unique characters with the skill system tree that is equal to some EVE online megacharts i've seen.
