After acquiring LucasArts and Lucasfilm last year for a hefty price tag of $4.05 billion, Disney has today announced that LucasArts has seen its final days as the legendary publisher is being shut down.

Disney does have some of the best QA in the industry, they never have products that compete with eachother and every product gets their full attention. I have a feeling we won't see any games or shows with the Star Wars name start to surface until close to the release of the movie. They will probably gauge its success and go from there

TellTale did a good job with their Monkey Island, but I've not heard of much from them since the walking dead.
