08-31-13, 10:14 AM #1DOS Games
Some of you younger pukes may not have grown up playing DOS games (or even know what DOS is), but I have been playing quite a few DOS games this week. And to my surprise...
MORTAL KOMBAT FOR DOS IS FUCKING AWESOME!!!
I totally overlooked this game on the PC as a kid because I had it for both my Sega and SNES, but WOW! The graphics and sound are so much better than the console ports. I literally played it for 4 hours last night, beating the game with multiple characters, increasing the level of difficulty each time.
So this morning, I installed Super Street Fighter II Turbo. Another AWESOME game that I missed on the PC because I was too busy playing the crappy console versions. I played it so much and mashed so many buttons that I broke my Gravis Game Pad. I have to figure out how to get my Sidewinder working in DOS now...

I stayed up late last night playing Duke 3D. I haven't played that game in so long and I actually forgot how much fun it was. I've got balls of steel!

Re: DOS Games
Does anyone remember a DOS game made by The Far Side (yeah the comics) that was choose-your-own-adventure type game? No graphics, just straight up text and my imagination. I cant for the life of me remember the name of it though and google has not aided me in finding it.
