It sounds like the name of the game is he who has the gold; not survival. From what it seems, Rust is about growth over time, and as you grow your stock, you expand. The growth rate of your group and/or co-ops has and will continue to surpass the newer players, and as time goes on, the barriers to entry become extremely significant just as you stated with your "I have 30 guns" comment.

It sounds a lot like Starcraft backstabbing for those who remember that sort of thing.

there is no big team...why does everyone keep saying that? I have a small team of texan, myself, bunni, and hub. We have a fortified house seperate from everyone else. We have plenty of guns, c4, ammunition, metal, resources to last us a long time. We have several stash houses, we have several comrades on the servers, as well as enemies. We are our own faction. We are close friends with scott adam and krom and would do anything for them. I actually took Hub and Bunni under my wing and got them set up, as I would with ANY player, even blonde, had he asked. Get your feet wet, then you are on your own.


I'm done posting. When civil starts in with the "I'm a neutural 3rd party with no vested interested in this game but in order to full fill my post count for the day I'm going to insert my opinions on the matter here, even they they don't mean anything and are most likely vague in nature to make myself sound intelligent. Oh and don't try to call me on it, or I will swing my e-peen" then I know it's time to leave lol.

A lot of "Ifs" there... none of which have happened. But, thanks for sharing.

I guess you should quit when your posts consist of:

"I am Kraker, and I think I am the god of the TPG rust universe because I am not really allied with 8 other people, but actually I am. I will brag about how me and my 8 friends are so tough we destroyed 2 guys when they joined the server for the first time, and about how I have amassed a small army worth of stuff with the help, support, and bro-pact with all but 2 of the people who played on the server for the first week, but then when one person shows up that might be a threat I will crush them, then act like it is their fault."

As I said, I could care less how you choose to play the game, but shitting on someone when they are new to the game, and have no allies or assets, sounds like a great way to encourage server growth. But I guess I can't figure that out because I don't own the game because it is so much different than any other sandbox MMO like DayZ, Minecraft(I realize Minecraft isn't as much about PVP in most cases), or whatever else is out there.

And yes, I play BF4 and CSGO. Thanks for asking.

I respectfully call bullshit. Don't make me go find the post where people are saying that the server is currently split up 13-2. I guess next you are going to try to tell me that when the server was 13-2, or whatever the exact numbers were, that none of those 13 amassed a massive cache of supplies. Oh wait, there was also a post about that when someone claimed all deals were off because someone has "too much" C4, so the world is not safe. Oops.

I stand corrected. I was way off in my numbers when I said the server was split 13-2.

It was actually 18-2. Carry on with telling me how the playing field is and was "fair" for everyone. I am sure your story would go right along with a story about Somalia invading the good ol' US of A. Give me a break.

LOL.... and you wonder where the drama comes from. Well, dont let the facts get in the way of your story telling. Except for the "I am Kraker, and I think I am the god of the TPG rust universe", you could insert any game there, you know Kraker. But the rest? Decent speculation, but not an accurate picture of what happens in game.
