    What do people think about removing the ability for people to resupply their stock of C4?

    The building material not the charge itself.

    Downgoing population on almost every Server

    A player who lost everything won't start over an a server that runs for five days already. He'll look for a freshly wiped server to start again.

    The population on the server goes down by ~75% after 5-6 days and all left over players have pretty secure bases and pretty good items. Now the raid groups have to target each other...
    While I will say I'm on the server at a particular time, I don't see the same random traffic anymore. And this post on face punch makes sense. However, changing the game mechanics is mostly on Gary's end. On ours, removing the ability to stock pile Rust WMD because of folks farming when no ones on might encourage a population growth.
    In a short about of time, Corpse and I were able to go from 0 charges to 10. The reality of the servers current state, I could spend a day farming, and likely end up with 40 charges. And as many of you likely know, I've been taking all your stuff. Large boxes are overflowing with guns, ammo, and just about everything in the server. I'm at the point of killing people and throwing there stuff in the ocean or breaking loaded boxes.

    And if you don't feel like zooming in, that's 229 metal walls, 30 metal foundations, and 60 metal ceilings looted, not crafted by me. In less then 3 days, I've looted over 3,000 LQM.

    Think you nailed it. In its present state.... for most people who desire more than raiding vacant houses, the game is utterly pointless.

    And God forbid you can only play about 10 hours a week. You might as well spawn in and beat yourself over the head with your rock until your dead.

    It was fun on BMRF because there was a big group of TPGrs vs. everyone else on the server. We could have nearly round the clock defenses, and quick pooling of people and resources for the offensive maneuvers. At our present population though..... You've got a few people that can team up on off peak hours and rape the shit out of the server, OR 10 guys grouped together in a Rusty Bromance vs 3 or 4 that split off.... neither of which are appealing in the least.

    I cant see removing C4 all together as an answer. But i could see making it non-craft-able, and extremely rare on airdrops only.

    Until we can get enough people in this community to support a launch of a game, it is almost pointless. It's a hard pill to swallow, but we just don't have the numbers anymore

    I blame the radioactive bears and wolves. Until there are some more interesting NPC's, building a population from scratch will be hard for any server IMO. There just isn't enough content to keep single dudes interested Is there a problem with having the TPG Rust server sitting empty? Perhaps we'll use it occasionally for messing around, arenas, mazes, base design and the like? I'm behind the idea of playing on BMRF again while facepunch gets their shit sorted. It would be tough to see the TPG server disappear altogether though.

    the problem with leaving it idle is that I paid for the first month... Tpg will be paying for it after that month is up... And we have no desire to pay for a server to sit idle. If it sits idle it will be shut down.

    I also think that we tend to jump on any new Comer rather quickly, mostly out of border. Probably doesn't help things when we effectively troll any guests that stop by.

    But without a supply of C4 that can be rebuilt, new folks stand an decent chance. Set up a metal door and your safe until you have a caught someone's attention.
