Thread: Not so fast guys! BMRF is closing...

Seems they removed the thread.

I cant find it, even by checking my recent posts.

that's fine. Canvas the place. if they don't like it, stop. Until then... go for it.

Personally would have talked to an admin over there first, imagine they probably (or would again) threads as advertising/spam. If a message was shot saying something like "Hey, we enjoyed the many hours played on your server and sad to see it being closed. We were hoping we could make a post or two about our new servers in hopes some of your members can come join us once BMRF Rust's server closes."

Can't see any reason they should say no, if they aren't going to host the game. Unless they are just jerks or something. Also seems worth it to contact any of the folks you guys know that played over there, try to nab them before they settle elsewhere (and they'll, hopefully, spread it to other folk they know/play with).

Just my opinion.

Wait does anyone know what happened. If they will make a return? That's a bit sudden for a group like BMRF just to go offline like that.

Maybe it's automated. I somehow doubt it and maybe more reason to believe they may be back.

Looks like it is their ball and they are going home with it.

This sounds like an iffy thing to do. If someone did that here for a game we have a server for, it would not be allowed.
