Really don't know where else to post this. I need to find sommething similar to Fraps, that will run on a Mac running OSX 10.7.5. It also needs to be fairly easy to use, my 12 year old wants to capture Minecraft play and upload it to YouTube for his friends watch, and not break the bank as I will be buying it for him. I'm a Windows guy so I am not really all that informed when it comes to Mac software. The searches I have done so far seem to always point to ScreenFlow but at $100, that's out of the question. I'd like to keep it under $50 if possible. There have got to be some Mac users here, what are you using to capture your gaming?
Thanks!

Maybe this?
Video Capture Software. Video, Webcam or Screen Recorder
I don't know how easy it is to setup, but it is, at least, free.

There are some open source options that a lot of LoL pros use (albeit for Windows). There's also a $10/month (?) program that some people here have used.
If he has Nvidia though (apple does tend to use them over AMD), his GPU might support Shadowplay. It's an nvidia thing you can stream capture/stream with for free assuming you have an nvidia card that supports it. The WHQL drivers that came out in the last month or so have it as a standard feature as it's finished its beta. I haven't used it personally, but I think Wile might have? He would know more anyway about it being his normal supergenius self anyway.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.
