What's it like?

Hey y'all, been awhile since I last spoke to some of you, and I'm curious about this game.

It's my understanding that it very much requires teamwork in order to make it playable. That solo'ing is fatal.

Is that a correct assumption?

I'd like to give it a try, but not wanting to drop in "naked and alone" and be overwhelmed by unfriendly natives.

So.... any recommendations?

Oddly these two games are very similar.

Very few people on the TPG server right now so it is a good place to get a feel for the mechanics of the game. Crafting, harvesting, killing mobs, building bases - that sort of thing. For action, gotta go elsewhere though. I'm sure a couple of us would be happy to give you some help if we're online. Check the Teamspeak channels.
