Head count
Take a peak at the activity, TPG - Rust++ - Mature - Active Admins - Wiped 2/15 [rust] Rust
We gave it a shot and it fizzled out. Even though the game lacks new content, surely there's still more time to squeeze out of it.
So, who's still around to be counted? Who's willing to throw on full Kevlar with a cloth hat and survive on a different server?
Back to team work, back to friendship, back to unity.

Re: Head count
I'm on TPG every few days or so. There are a few of us who don't seem to mind a quiet server and the non PVP parts of the game. It isn't the only server I play on though. What other servers you playing on Soviet? I'm all for some group action!

I don't have a dedicated server, because there's no group of TPGers on a server. Everyone was ganged up then we start our own server and everyone went in 20 different directions.
If you have a stable server, with a reasonable pop, not dead but not overflowing, I'd say its about time we rounded everyone up again and split the rent on an apartment.Dispatch the DooM

Re: Head count
In the last 7 days the server's highest population was 1 player.
There is a lot of chatter going on official forums, with the lack of updates and content. Most folks got 100+ game hours out of the game and it's simply fizzed out. The Steam graphs show a steady decline in overall population and folks are giving up. I don't see how it's fair for Kanati to pay for a server that's a ghost town. If people still want to get something out of the game, want to work with friends, they need to speak up.Dispatch the DooM

Re: Head count
Count me among the fizzled out. Cant stand the deathmatch extreme PvP servers... if i wanted that i would install BF, and i cant stand empty or brofest servers. I spent a ton of time on the rust server even making myself a target for new joins when they happened but that went no where. I'll certainly get back into it when they release more content as the populations should pick up, and there should be less servers online by then.

Re: Head count
The game is in Alpha. It stands to reason that when the thousands of us who do actually play are done helping them with bugs and gameplay issues it will go into Beta. You can be assured that if it goes into an open Beta there will be tens of thousands playing it.
To expect high server population on an Alpha product is unrealistic.
If we are hosting a server at this time it is to help the game through testing. That's what an Alpha Test is.GreenGod liked this post
