So someone explain to me the insurance. It sounds like when your ship is destroyed your "insurance" replaces it. I know there are time limits on the insurance (except for the life time), so does that mean if you do not renew and get destroyed you have no way to replace your ship? You are basically paying a subscription?

Lifetime insurance, 3-6 month insurance are all perks to adopting early. Once game releases, you buy insurance for your ship using in game currency similar to eve.

You don't even have to buy a ship. Once the game launches you can earn them in game. Buying a ship now is literally just pledging money to support development. This isn't to say that doesn't come with certain perks though as mentioned before by Adm.

But I would imagine that buying both SC and S42 will cost more than a pledge does now with both full games included.

Hello, a friend gifted me $100. My question is.. when I pledge for a game package will it include everything I need to play this game. I know nothing of this game and doing research on it. I am thinking of getting the Avenger game package.
