World in Conflict
World in Conflict
West Germany, 1988. To avoid certain collapse, the Soviet army boldly advances into Europe. NATO responds only to be met on a second front -- a diversionary attack on the American homeland. You are a field commander, leading the era's most powerful military machines in the campaign to retake America's cities and suburbs.
World in Conflict is under development by the leading creative and technical minds at Massive Entertainment, creators of the innovative and award-winning Ground Control series.

This game I'd say after playing it Multiplayer is prime TTP material. It's just like BF2 or CS:S where you have to join servers. Except your not at 1st person, your on a team(USA, Russia, NATO) and you pick a role(Air, Infantry, Armor, Artillery) and you pick your vehicles and weaponry you want. You then get your own private little army of specifically whatever role you choose and you help your team control the battlefield against another team. It does have VOIP and it has servers just like the games we currently have. It's very into teamwork, it's not your the one man army, it's your team is the 12 player army. Every role counts and if one player decides to jack off then it hurts the entire team. Theres no question about it not being based on teamplay. Of course anyone here who is currently playing the Beta should know, it's teamplay based. I'd loved to see TTP get a possible World in Conflict server. It's a great game based on teamplay, no doubt. It also does have a ranking system just like Battlefield games with promotions and rank based on points gained in a round. You have to play it to see what I'm talking about here, it just can't be described in sentences. The game will blow your mind, I highly recommend anyone who likes teamplay and battlefield based combat like Company of Heroes to play this game! I'm also asking if TTP could look into it to possibly check out the game and maybe get a server because this game redefines teamplay. It's what were all about. I hope we can get a server sooner or later.
By the way, the game is still in Beta testing. It comes out in September, preorders are available and Beta is free download as well as Beta CD keys are free as well.

Re: World in Conflict
Ok i have a couple things to say on the beta after playing(and winning) after an hour
1. This probably one of the best damn games ever
2. TTP needs a server when the full version is released.
The most fun part was dropping a big ass bomb on the whole other team. It wasnt a nuke, but it was big, really big.
