    check my last post, you'll find the steam forums are great for info if you're excited bout the DLC. you know all the members here sneak on for a look every now and again. and if you're looking for some news check the big thread i started "chet reveals something scary on the horizon" :waves:

    Whelp, as you guys know from Boomer'sbestfriend, an anonymous guy on the forum got emailed from Chet that the game won't be coming out this Friday, because they, "Still need to coordinate for a release date.", so it looks like we might not be getting the passing this week. We may call foul on the fact that only one anonymous guy received an email from Chet (I'm not too knowledgable with photoshop, but I'm pretty sure someone could forge that), what Chet said in the email (real or fake), is a legitamite point. The release date of Friday would be too sudden of an announcement for community fans. I'm imagining we'll know the release date at least four days ahead of time.

    Edit: Yesh. I'm so excited for this too. And new games MODES?! Plural?! It looks like Valve is making an absoultely amazing DLC this time around.

    There's only a week left in March, I would think that posting a date of release with such short notice would be terrible marketing. And worse, if they're rushing the DLC like that chances are it'll be glitchy as hell.

    The email from Chet seems kinda sketchy, so I'm gonna assume it's released on Friday, which is just perfect... I'm bringing L4D2 to a friend's party on Saturday!

    It would be really nice to have it to play over the weekend. But it's only 1 day away and it still isn't announced. It would be terrible marketing to announce the DLC at the last minute, or not at all. My money's on Wednesday.

    If we have to wait then i dont mind, as id rather wait a bit longer and have no glitchyness then have it now and it being ful of glitches >.< but i really hope they release it soon. can't wait for this dlc

    Yep. It's definitely a no-go for today. But we only have 6 days left in march, so at max it'll be 6 days away, unless Valve breaks their promise and doesn't release it until April. I hope not, it looks like a lot of fun.

    But when Valve does announce the release date (which I predict will be sometime this weekend, if we hope to see it in the next week), I'll grab my cash and be making sure to start the download in the morning it arrives.

    Is there any word on cost? And if it's the 30th that'd be so ridiculous with MW2 and Battlefield at the same time. I doubt it'll come out this month though.
