Re: SWG Vets
played on a friends account back when it came out, pre-lightspeed or whatever it was. it was spiffy enough at Redline (a pay-to-play gaming cafe type thing), but I didn't have the rig or the time to play it.
But you're right, it does suck much wang.
now, as a side note. Scrum, you should play eve with us.

Good god. There is no way I could play another one right now lol. A good buddy of mine plays it here I work with but my between that and CS my wife would definitely divorce me
.
If they do come out with a BioWare/Lucas Arts KOTOR mmorpg then I might be in though.

This is why SoE kills games.

Re: SWG Vets
SOE kills games? EQ1 is still going strong with just 200k users almost 10 years later... Hell that damn matrix game they bought is still going even though its only got a handful of crazy die hard matrix fans playing it.
Planetside, 20k users, still being run...
SOE might not be all roses and sunshine, but they definitely do not kill games. They tried to make SWG more appealing to a broader base of players and fucked up, hell someone from lucas arts may have pushed them to increase the playerbase... they will pay, Lucas is taking their license somewheres else now, but SOE will not 'kill' SWG anymore than it kills any other game.
