Thread: What console games should I buy?

I have a B-day coming up in a few months and will get some where around two hundred to two hundred and fifty dolors. I have all of the TTP games, except Arma, but a 360 that sits in my room and is never used... So what console games are really good and which ones should I avoid?

I've got Halo 3, Splinter cell double agent, and Call of duty two and three. I've a Ps2, 360, and a Wii. Also I don't have Xbox live and no one to play with so A good Sp is preferred...

Uh, GTA IV.
GTA IV is the only thing I've been playing for the past... week or so.
I got it monday and I'm still playing it when I'm not at work.
Whether it's multiplayer (Even though you'll miss out on it) or single player (Which mind you is quite long) it's fucking awesome.
There's also plenty of good PS2 games I'd go out and get, too lazy to remember their names... but they're out there, and cheap too.

Going to be hard to get with the parents breathing down my neck... I can play M games, but they have heard what GTA apparently does to children's minds which I think is bull crap because it's a great stress reliever...

ya, a great stress reliever, because if theres a bad driver on the road you don't have to hold it in, just take an rpg and blow him up hahah

honestly, if your computer is able to play all those games, i'd probably be sticking with my computer than my 360

The new starwars game for 360 - the force unleashed looks fantastic but wont be out until September. The last really good game I played for 360 was bioshock. But I don't really buy games for it all that often unless I know their good since their getting to be around 60 bucks a pop now.
