I played for a while. Liked the game. Been a while tho.

Main thing I hated at the time was the know spawn points and M203/grenade spamming that would happen 1/2 sec into the game. People would launch stuff blindly becase they knew where folks started.

However since I started playing at TTP I am addicted to the communication and team work. The game was every man for himself. I don't think I could go back with out VoIP.

sjt and I played for a long time. Difficult, highly technical. But without integrated VOIP...the game never became what it could have been.

VIP hospital was my favorite. Playing the VIP.....rushing out into the garage to meet the terrorists while they had their guns down and were still sprinting.....clak clak clakka clakkakakakaa sukkas! Me and my single, half empty clip dropping 3 or 4 clowns, then SJT showing up with the SAW.....just painful raping.

Made it about halfway through virtual basic training before I realized reality sucks.

I don't worry about VOIP, I am in a clan that has teamspeak, so as long as you have that you should be good to go.

Also most servers now enforce a no 203 spamming rule in the first 30 seconds of a game. It gives you enough time to hide in cover.

I should everyone run TS or Vent in the background? My computer would slap me and call me bad names if I run anything in the background while playing CSS.

I'm sure there are some people in this community are in the same boat. Games with a VOIP are a must for TTP.

Lol no offense, but if you can't run a program like TS in the background while playing a game, you probably need to upgrade...

I have a lot of games on my PC that run just perfectly fine with TS and Xfire, and other crap in the background.

The point still remains that TTP hosted games need VOIP. Your average joe, who comes into our house hoping to find a server with people who'll have his back, will most likely not know about TS or Vent. Simply put, in game VOIP is a means for the masses to enjoy teamplay without having to go out of their way.

I honestly would rather play this than BF2, a game I payed for.
