    Overlord - PS3

I just picked this up for PS3 and absolutely LOVE IT. Has anyone else tried the game out? Multiplayer sucks, as can be expected, but the game itself is very solid and has actually made me laugh.

Looks like a diamond in the rough. I never really heard anything about it until I downloaded the demo.

I played it on the PC, it was ok.

The second one is supposed to come out soon tho, you might want to wait for that (if you haven't gotten the full game yet)

i played the demo, but i had some trouble. i liked the idea but felt very constricted. no adventuring at all in the game. its strictly follow the path. so i dont think i am sold on it. with an open environment, kinda like pikmin style i think that game would be great

I'll likely pick up the 2nd one as well when it releases.

It's not a very deep game, but I'm still having a blast playing it. I just picked up my blue minions and am up to a whopping 25 minions at a time now. It's nuts setting up 4 different minion types to control a fight in your favor... the demo really doesn't do justice to the strategy.

If you play it right, on the harder difficulty, you will have to set up your greens (invisible/roguelike minions) to wait for the browns (tanks) to pull a mob, reds (ranged dps) set up on a vantage point to shoot fireballs down with 2-3 blues in the back to rez your fallen teammates... it's surprisingly fun.
