Star Ocean
Do I have any Star Ocean fans here at TTP? I'ved played all of thema nd loved them..even the one for SNES...thank you DEJAP.
I just found out there's another one coming out at the end of the month..or supposed to come out then, and was wondering how many others like the series?

Re: Star Ocean
I love Star Ocean. Sweet ass game, I found my self replaying number 2 till I lost it...still don't know where it went. Then 3 came out, and haven't beaten it yet. Honestly didn't know there was a 4th coming.
Tales Of Symphonia is another game like Star Ocean, and I'd recommend getting it. The first one was on the Game Cube and 2 is now on Wii. Great story, and good characters. Not as much to do as there is in Star Ocean, but there's still about 80hrs of gameplay on the first one.

Re: Star Ocean
I didn't get a chance to play it until it came out for PS2. I loved the game itself, but I can never make my self sit still long enough to finish a console rpg. I'll play it for a total of a bout 20-30 hours and either lose focus or the game becomes impossibly hard.

Re: Star Ocean
Just watch the trailer. Is it just me or do the main characters look a lot like Titus and what's her face from FFX. Anwys, looks like a PS3 exclusive...another reason I gotta get one.

Anyways, if Star Ocean is better than the Tales series, I might have to look into getting it...of course if it is XBOX360 or PS3 that would mean a new console as the only next gen system I own is Wii currently.
