For all of those who havent played/bought Fallout 3; the Game of the year edition comes out today.
And includes all 5 of the downloadable content packs.

Unfortunately all the DLC's were crap.

It was a pathetic attempt to suck out money from a good game. They did one thing wrong with Fallout 3...make those DLC's.

Well, with the right mods, Operation Anchorage and Broken Steel were pretty damned fun. But most of the DLCs treated FO3 like a shooter... which, without any mods, it definitely ain't.

FO3's biggest issue was people treating it like a shooter when it really, really wasn't meant to be right out of the box.

Ive played opperation anchorage and I like it. It was very short tho. I am glad I did not buy it by its self.

Operation Anchorage is awesome... if you use mods to remove the console-ized bullshit like autoaim and make the game play more like a shooter. The only DLC that actually felt like an RPG was Point Lookout. The rest were just glorified shooters.

Thing is, for 360, the controls are crap without the auto aim. Consoles take some skill, with the controller...and Fallout 3 didn't help that. PC are just so nice and easy and smooth...not saying that's a bad thing, lol.

I think it is bullshit that they take all your stuff away from you.

you get to go into the pitt with all your gear?
what happened to me is as soon as i got in I got beat up by some gang (who cant be tougher than an equil amount of super mutans) and they took all my stuff including my stealth suit.
Opperation anchorage is a simulator and when you start out you have a set of armor and a scilenced 10mm
