Re: Boss Help
!!!!****SPOILERS****!!!!
If you get to end game. You will fight The Destroyer; a huge alien with a vagina for a mouth and a plasma spitting eye. Since this is the end of the game it is of course challenging, but if you've got good gear it aint that bad. The key to this is his crit locations. These are, his eye (even when half closed, just aim carefully. If you have a sniper this is his job), the purple sacks on his arms, and his tongue.
His attacks consist of three things. First he shoots plasma shards at you, this will stick to you and detonate after a delay. If they hit the ground next to you, start running as they will act as nades. Second he will slam the ground with his tentacles, this is unavoidable, but it does only a little damage. Just make sure to stay away from the edge of the cliff so the knockback doesn't send you over. Third he will periodically fire a beam from his eye. This is the best opportunity for damage dealing without a scope. When he opens his eye all team members should spam the shit out of it. The eye beam deals VERY high damage, but it can't go through the pillars. So stay behind the pillars to a avoid it.
Good luck.

Sledge: I did this as brick so remember your experiances will differ. Before entering clear out the crap in your inventory and buy a few healing things. Sledges shield isnt all its made out to be and you can rip through it in no time. He does have an instant recharge thing that can get annoying. If sledge isnt right on you take the time to kill the henchguys around him. After killing about 10-15 or so (they spawn 1-2 at a time) no more will spawn. You can then run around the pillars to avoid sledge and let your shield recharge. He is pretty slow so you can keep cirlcing all you want. A good grenade is the one that sucks away enemy health. Once it blows up it releases like 10 enemy seeking sparkles that will grab some health and bring it back to you.
As Brick: I used beserk for the increased movment speed and health regen. Took out a few minions while beserk and used the rest of the time to dodge sledge so when I came out of it I would have full health and charged shields.
I figure other classes (lilith, Roland) can use their special in much the same fashion.
I almost died 3x until all the little guys were clear with them gone I could take time and get HS on sledge and he became VERY easy.

Sledge: (as Roland, solo)
First, I went around the sides taking out all of the minions, except for a midget shotgunner, who was my backup respawn if I went down. Then, I kept running circles around sledge while popping him with shotgun shots. When he had about 30ish percent health left, I dropped my turrent, hightailed it to the throne, and emptied my clip into his face while he was distracted.
Dunno about any other classes, but it seems solo hunters have the worst off. Unless they have a shenanigans bloodwing build.

When he slams his major tentacles into the ground, you can dodge the attack by getting behind pillars, the shockwaves don't go through them.
Purple sacks on his arms, and his eye are his crit points. Hes so fucking big you should have no problem hitting nothing but them (And trust me, you'll need to hit them... His health pool is beyond enormous) . Hes immune to rockets, and fire elemental damage from what I observed.
The spikes he fires, also drop ammo once they explode incase you run out.

Good to know about the arms being the source of the shards, we never managed to kill all four, as we were mostly all focus firing his eye.
