Age of Mythology

Just started playing this again. Anyone else here have it?

Absolutely. I love Age of Mythology to death, I get lost in all the info windows for everything. The gameplay is solid Age of Empires style. Tons of hard counters though, which tends to make some units obsolete.

When I first played it, I didn't care much for it. I was used to the straight forwardness of Age of Conquerors. The concept of having limited numbers of houses was foreign and quite annoying. That and having units take up 2,3 or even 4 population was awkward. But the more I play it, the more it's growing on me.

It was also a little difficult for me at first b/c the units we're totally different between the different gods.

I'm pretty sure Tuck, Vulcan, and Gimli all play it, at least they say thats what they're doing when they go off into their own mumble channel...but one can never be sure.... :P

I never really liked Mythology, I could never get used to it after playing so much AoE II.

The egyptians can wreak shop with just Anubis's. Cheap/fast to make and they are devistatin in large numbers :P

I've never played with the Egyptians. I am fan of the Greeks, Hades in particular. I used to be in love with the norse, but that was simply because of their aggressive play style.
