Yup. You can barely move the fricken tanks, even with gas... In worms you can ninja rope and backflip all over the place. Worms is alot better then scorched.

Anyone here ever play Metal Marines from the PC? It was one of the first(or only) games that I think really took advantage of windows. It would open up something like 3 or 4 windows, one of your base in one corner, the enemy base in another corner, and your rockets and troop transports would actually fly across from one window to another.

Isn't that just a more comedic copy of scorched earth though?
Never played scorched earth, but probably not.
It is, scorched earth came out before it and worms is based on scorched earth game play, just with worms instead of a tank like vehicle.
Aren't the tanks pretty much stationary shooting at each other until one hits the other?
Yeah, but it was the whole trajectory style game it started and worms picked up on.

I like worms too, just saying it was a copy of scorched earth style play with some improvements.

Massive improvements... unless the tanks talked like Angry Scotts too...

I don't remember if I posted this in the past, but this was one of my most favorite games of all time, and I still say it holds the award for the best space flight game ever.

The most ridiculously difficult PC game ever. But I liked it.

I'm actually playing through Turok 2: Seeds of Evil (on the PC this time, though) again right now, started it up this weekend. Don't know if many others played this game but it has by far one of the single best FPS single player campaigns I've ever played. It's also, really, the first really bloody game I ever played.
