Re: E3 2010 Discussion Topic
Really, I was impressed by the move in terms of actually bringing precise motion control to more core games. That sorcery game actually got me interested. Also playing FPS games on the PS3 with the move instead of a controller should bring the reaction time a little bit closer to that of a mouse. I see a lot of potential in it.
Also loved the Portal 2 announcement. "I spoke to Kevin Butler backstage and he introduced himself as the VP of sharpening things." Classic.

I forgot all about the OoT remake rumor, should be good if true. Here is an article on kotaku showing off the supposed proof: http://kotaku.com/5564395/rumor-3ds-...emake/gallery/
Also I hope the Goldeneye remake will be good!

Re: E3 2010 Discussion Topic
Well, I think the big thing at that point was the fact that a Valve game was even coming out on the PS3 since Gabe Newell had previously said it would never happen. Just keep hoping that HL episode 3 doesn't turn into Duke Nukem Forever... lol or Starcraft: Ghost

Oh cool, a Dead Rising 2 - Prequel trailer. Apparently there will be a playable Dead Rising 2 prequel game exclusive to the Xbox 360 coming out before the main game. Unfortunately, it doesn't give a release date or cost. Enjoy the trailer though: http://kotaku.com/5564616/dead-risin...-serious-on-us

In news that is sure to rock the Xbox and PC community, developer Valve has announced that Steamworks-enabled Portal 2 will be coming to the PlayStation 3. This means that no longer will the developer be developing for just the Microsoft Xbox 360 and PC platforms.
The bigger news shocker might be that Game Newell confirmed at Sony’s E3 press conference that Portal 2 will be available on the PlayStation 3 the same day that it arrives for the Xbox 360 and PC. The PlayStation 3 version will be Steamworks-enabled to allow cross-platform gaming and messaging between Steamworks-enabled platforms.
The news from Newell came with the promise that the PlayStation 3 version of Portal 2 will be the best version on any console due in part to the Steamworks integration. Our sources tell us that the decision by Sony to get Valve onboard was helped by a large check, but we can’t yet confirm that this is true. We guess Valve wanted to shock the world, and they have done a pretty good job with this news. No release date was offered, beyond saying that it would arrive in 2011; and there is no word yet on what titles might be coming to the PS3 as part of this move.

Unfortunately, this is how the console gaming thing is going to go now. Microsoft and Sony are both going to pay huge dollar amounts to developers to say this is exclusive or that is exclusive. Sony is just now beginning to play the game that Microsoft has been playing since the xbox was announced.
