Re: Dragonage 2
I've seen better.
How does it relate to the game's plot? What is the game's plot, anyway? Didn't we stop the Darkspawn invasion and kill the Archdemon in the first game? Will this game be completely unrelated to the first, only sharing the campaign setting but taking decades or centuries before or after events in Origins? If it's related to Origins, which ending is considered canon?
A flashy cinematic with honestly boring combat (the Origins trailer was more exciting, and it was crap compared to, say, the Guild Wars 2 trailer or either Starcraft 2 trailer) and seemingly no actual information on events that will take place in the game isn't a good cinematic. We hear Flemeth's voice, but does that mean she's still around (assuming they consider killing her canon to begin with!), or are they just reusing the voice actress to get people excited? We see a lot of flashbacks right before the presumed hero goes Super Saiyan Mode times eleventy billion and casually massacres the big evil demon dude, but they're out of context and are therefore meaningless.
Epic trailer? No, not even close.

Re: Dragonage 2
Things we know -
1) The trailer was about (but not quite) on par with the original (although I still think the original trailer was one of the most awesome things I've ever seen).
2) The story is going to be as good as Dragonage One (whether or not that is "good" is entirely based upon your own point of view - for me, it'll be great. I could frankly care less what anyone else thinks ;p).
3) Is it me, or was that guy a blood mage mixed with a berserker?

Re: Dragonage 2
From what I heard your gonna be a guy called Lance (not a nameless warden) and your looking for your warden partner girl (the guy in the quick flashback) I think/hope it will be set in orlias around the same time as the original game. They have made warriors a higher damage class to put them on par with rouges and mages and have made it so that no matter what class finishes a high lvl beasty off they have a "finishing" strike. Like when you rape the face off a dragon when your warrior finishes it off...

Re: Dragonage 2
Except he's dead. It didn't show it because people are pussies and would whine if they actually showed someone being subjected to a grisly death (being torn apart by big glowy god-hands), but it was pretty heavily implied.
Are we not fighting Darkspawn this time? Last I checked, none of the Darkspawn except Emissaries were even capable of speech, and none of them (including the emissaries) looked even vaguely human - this dude looked like a human with white hair, pointy ears, and horns.
