Thread: Civ V

So, who has played the sh!zzle out of it yet?

Beat on Chieftain and now I am working on the Warlord difficulty setting thus far... marathon games go on muuuuuch longer than in Civ IV it seems.




I am really digging the no-stacking and hex grid battles. You have to produce more units and be strategic about moving units in a cycle through bombardment zones.

I do miss corporations and religions though... perhaps in the expansion?

No more fat stacks of units, interesting... Does Civ 5 replaced corps and religion with something else?

Somewhat off topic, but I know you will read it. Soy, have you tried Company of Heroes Online yet?

Not as yet from what I have seen. We need to get a multiplayer game going sometime. I'm interested to see how the game play will change with actual thinking people.

It really expanded on the "civiics" system from Civ IV by having similar but more "cultural policies." Some of which emulate some of the benefits... but there are no special units or buildings associated with them. Possibly in an expansion...

If we can get enough people I am all for some online Civ V.

I have played the hell out of it as well. This is my first Civ game to play and i love it. Great game.....
