Thread: DarkSpore?

I'm gonna be giving the free beta a shot. Anyone else gonna try it out?

I've been playing it like mad. Have two teams of near level 30's. Because the Beta ends Friday, I'm all that more determined to get through it. Krel and Lumin are two of the best of them, in my opinion. They can tank with the best of them (equipped properly) and can deal out a ton of damage (Also when equipped properly)

To those who don't know the game, here's a quick overview of the game:

Think Diablo, except you have 100 characters. Each has three unique skills. The three base stats actually are the most important to raise, and directly increase the power of a hero's abilities. This is Spore for adults. It combines the customization of Spore with the visceral, gory action of Diablo II, mixed in with a ton of different heroes. A lot of the game is random generated, or rather, randomly chosen. There is a set of levels that get used, but they can be randomized when you go back to a certain area (Confusing, I know. Better to just try it to see what I'm talking about).

It's a lot more fun that just Diablo II or just Spore. Especially when you bring in extra players. Synergize some of their skills, compliment others. It's very good, and the Beta is basically the full-version of the game on rent.
