Thread: 1.8 thoughts and comments?

I played last night and was wondering what others thought.

Bioms are really neat it can also help you when navigating and giving directions.

Rivers are really cool and oceans are really deep. The plains and mountains seem to go on for ever. Careful about losing yourself in the desert.

The abandoned mines are cool and very extensive. Loads of spawners and creepy crawlies. Bring food. Lol.

Food will take some getting used to. But I like the concept a lot.

Haven't tried it yet, but if it's out officially now I'll update the server soon

The update is penciled in for Monday... we'll see, though. Jeb (been doing most of the trouble-shooting) has been having some problems with Java on his computer and probably won't be working much this weekend (his girlfriend's parents are in town).

Of course, we'll see. I expect the update anytime between Monday and Wednesday depending on when they can work out the major bugs.

It looks great! I can't wait to see what I can do with the new blocks.
