Re: Should I buy MW3?
Its impossible to introduce 30 new guns each game cause surprise surprise we dont make 30 new guns each year. I think BF3 is an actual upgrade because of (A) new graphics engine, (B) new maps, from what iv seen the maps in BF3 are very different than BF2, unlike CoD games where the maps are slightly different each time, instead of new ones, (C) There isnt a new one every year, I know iv seen the list of "battlefield" games but some of those are expansions that didnt cast $60 per and not every BF2 player bought each and every battlefield game.
That is why BF3 is better then CoD. It sets up a game for the long run. People will be able to play BF3 for years.
I think the difference between xbox and PC players is the PC gamers stick with a game for a long time and enjoy the difficulty. From what iv seen of Xbox players is they buy a game, play a month or two, and then swap to something else. If there are flaws in a game they can accept it for the short time they play it.

I wish people would stop comparing these games. EA opened the doors though I guess with their marketing tactics. Honestly they are both good games in completely different ways. Yes MW3 looks like they just remade MW2 with new maps. Yes BF3 doesn't run at 60fps all the time. Who fucking cares? Personally I play both and I like both. I like BF3 a lot more but MW3 scratches a certain itch I have. It's the "I want to play something similar to CS but since I've been playing that for like 10 years and I swear to God if I have to listen to someone make a call that they think is in any way shape or form some type of strategy for this fucking game I'm going to kill myself" itch. I like BF3 because it can be a slower or a fast and frantic type experience and there are a ton of options. They are both very very different outside of the fact there are guns and you shoot people in the face.
